Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that involves pricking the skin with very fine sterilized needles. These micro wounds stimulate the skin to repair itself with increased production  collagen, elastin and glycosaminoglycans (skin hydrators). This makes the skin look brighter, smoother and helps with pigmenatation and scarring.

A topical solution of vitamins that is tailored specifically to each patient is applied on the skin, a new sterile cartridge containing the microneedles is used to glide on the skin at different depths. The depth of the needles depends on the area of the face being treated. Both face and neck can be treated. After the treatment, a sheet mask is applied and the face is gently massaged to allow for the absorption of the nutrients. Patients will usually need between 4-6 sessions, 1 month apart. Microneedling can also be combined with a peel for maximum benefit.
